AmeriSpline® is perfect for sidewall and roof applications
Why?When slag adheres to water-cooled equipment, it reduces the heat load on the equipment pipes and improves mechanical protection during the charging process
AmeriSpline® geometry is superior to cups or bars. AmeriSpline® is designed to mechanically lock and support slag.
Why? The older way of capturing slag is effective, but it shortens the panel's life span by potentially introducing hydrogen entrapment in the welds of the cups or bars.
AmeriSpline® design extends panel life 2-4X’s that of traditional designs.
Why? Optimum design minimizes wear during operation due to excellent slag retention.

AmeriSpline® A Case Study
This panel was in service for 11,350 heats (or approximately two years of service).
It was pulled prematurely due to an issue with the burner block.
The photos below show the slag retention above the burner block and the imprint of the splines, note their excellent condition.
AmeriSpline® replaced Schedule 160 with slag bars. And doubled the life of the panels at 1.5 times the cost.
